University Boulevard Bus Stop Temporarily Closed Due to Purple Line Construction

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has announced that Ride On Route 15 bus stop #26686 at University Boulevard E and Merrimac Drive is currently closed to facilitate Purple Line work.

Per the news release:Work is projected to last until Sunday, April 7. Riders are directed to use Bus Bay E at Takoma Langley Transit Center or stop #26684 at University Boulevard and Forston Street.

Ride On bus fare is only $1 and monthly passes are $22.50 using SmarTrip, cash, or tokens. Seniors age 65 or older,  persons with disabilities and youth ages 18 and under all ride free using specialized SmarTrip cards.

The Ride On Trip Planner app is a free regional public transportation planner that will find your fastest route.
