Montgomery County Police are advising residents in Ashton to be aware of their surroundings after a coyote was spotted in the area.
Police issued the following alert on Thursday, March 28th at 12:46pm: “MCPD, Animal Services & DNR have responded to the 1400 block of Patuxent Dr. by the Watershed Park for the report of a coyote. If in the area, please be aware of your surroundings. If you encounter the coyote, do not approach it & call animal services immediately (240) 773-5925.”
