Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a fire in the in the 1700blk of Forest Glen Rd in Silver Spring at approximately 6:40am on Thursday, March 28.
According to Assistant Chief with MCFRS David Pazos, units arrived and found fire in the walls of a two-story single-family home. All occupants of the home were accounted for and there were no injuries reported. Two residents have been displaced.
The cause of the fire was electrical in nature. We will provide an update if additional information becomes available.
