MCPS Superintendent Search, Survey and Public Forums

The Montgomery County Board of Education has launched a nationwide search for the next superintendent of Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), who will assume the role on July 1, 2024. In a recent email, they’ve asked for public feedback via the survey below and shared the dates for three public forums in April.

The Board would appreciate your help as it embarks on the important task of selecting a new superintendent. Your input is invaluable. We must ensure the search process is thorough, transparent and reflective of the needs and aspirations of our diverse community, and your feedback will play a vital role in shaping the qualities and characteristics we seek in the next superintendent.

This survey is an opportunity for you to share your thoughts, concerns and aspirations for the district’s future. The Board will carefully consider all responses in developing the leadership profile to recruit, identify and evaluate candidates.

Take the Survey: The survey is best taken on a desktop or laptop computer, but can be completed on a smartphone if you scan the QR code below.
