Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a small grease fire on the 18000 block of Mateny Rd in the Clopper’s Mill shopping center in Germantown.
According to MCFRS Chief spokesperson Pete Piringer, the building was evacuated due to the grease fire in the kitchen. Crews are checking for any possible extension in the duct work or roof with light smoke coming from the kitchen vent.
There are no injuries reported and the fire was quickly controlled by responding crews.
