MCPS To Honor Retiring Employees With Ceremony in June

MCPS will honor its retiring employees during a reception on Thursday, June 6. The event will be held from 5-7 p.m. at Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville. Registration will begin at 4:30 p.m. 

The school system held an event honoring retirees from 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 last June after being unable to hold the reception for several years due to the pandemic. To receive an invitation to this year’s reception, retiring employees must submit completed retirement forms to the Employee and Retiree Service Center (ERSC) no later than Friday, May 10. Retirement forms are available on the ERSC Retirement Planning webpage. Employees who submit retirement paperwork after May 10 will be honored at next year’s reception.

Retirees planning to attend the reception must RSVP online by Monday, May 20, by visiting this websiteand completing the online form. The online RSVP form will be available beginning Monday, April 8.
