
Montgomery County Police and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services responded to a collision involving a pedestrian on Thursday morning in Damascus.
According to police, “At approximately 7:49 a.m., MCP officers responded to the area of Ridge Road and Oak Drive for the report of a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle.
The preliminary investigation has revealed that the vehicle struck a 12-year-old pedestrian. After the collision, the driver of the striking vehicle remained at the scene. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.”
