MCPS Appoints Six New Principals and Public Information Officer


The Montgomery County Board of Education approved six principal (elementary, middle, and high school) appointments on Thursday, April 11 as well as the appointment of a new public information officer (PIO). The appointments can be seen below:

• Liliana L. Lopez, public information officer, Office of Communications

• Anita R. O’Neill, principal, Clarksburg High School (currently acting principal at the school)

• Bradley W. Rohner, principal, Damascus High School (currently assistant principal at Wootton High School)

• Samuel G. Levine, principal, John T. Baker Middle School (currently assistant  principal at Odessa Shannon Middle School)

• Dr. Sofia M. Vega Ormeno, principal, Gaithersburg Middle School (currently principal intern at Lakelands Park Middle School)

• Jessica Bay Graber, principal, Clearspring Elementary School (currently principal intern at Dr. Ronald E. McNair Elementary School)

• Cynthia A. Houston, principal, Woodfield Elementary School (currently acting principal at Somerset Elementary School)
