In this article we take a look back at the upcoming restaurants that have created the most buzz on our website and associated social media accounts in the last month. Today we’re going to highlight the five (in no particular order) that have generated the most buzz in the last few months in terms of views, likes, and shares:

The Comus Inn (Dickerson): Last year, The Comus Inn (23900 Old Hundred Rd, Dickerson) announced that it was sold and would be closing on November 26th, with new ownership taking over in December. Now, we know it will be reopening on Tuesday, April 16th. From the teams behind H2-Collective (Washington, DC), Solace Outpost (Falls Church, VA), and Vanish Farmwood Brewery (Lucketts, VA), comes the new Comus Inn at Sugarloaf Mountain. More here.

Quincy’s Club House (Gaithersburg): Last June we let you know that Quincy’s officially signed a lease to bring its new concept, Quincy’s Club House, to 245 Kentlands Blvd. The country club style restaurant, bar, and golf venue will be taking over the location that was recently home to Not Your Average Joe’s and now they have a $990,000 permit to begin alterations in the space. Isaac’s Poultry Market (Burtonsville): Isaac’s Poultry Market, which opened its first location at 12167 Darnestown Rd in Gaithersburg in February 2023, has announced it will be opening a restaurant in Burtonsville. The restaurant will be located in the recently redeveloped Burtonsville Crossing shopping center, along side the upcoming Moby Dick and Eggspectation. Bouboulina (Pike & Rose): Signage is up for Bouboulina, a new full-service American grill influenced by Mediterranean cuisine at 915 Meeting St. at Pike & Rose. The restaurant, which is being opened by the founders of CAVA, will feature a wood-fired grill, premium steak cuts, fresh seafood and house baked breads with Mediterranean influences that celebrate the founders’ heritage and roots. Mayan Monkey Brewing Co. (Gaithersburg): After quite a bit of time without movement, the space at 227 E. Diamond Ave. has been sold to the owners of local establishments Taco Bar El Guero (Rio area), Ixtapalapa (Gaithersburg) and La Gula Mexicana (Germantown). The former site of Growlers and Summit Station Brewery will soon be home to Mayan Monkey Brewing Co., which will be a new concept from the group. More here.
