Busy Couple of Weeks Full of Events in Kensington

A busy couple of weeks coming up in Kensington. In addition to kids being able to read to a therapy dog on the second and third Saturday of every month at Kensington Park Library, there are a few more events coming up soon:

Saturday April 20th from 9AM-1PM is Trash to Treasure Day. Houses all over the town of Kensington will participate in this community yard sale. A map of all the houses joining in on the fun can be found here

The 17th Annual Day of the Book Festival is Sunday April 21 from 11AM-4PM. There will be lots of author readings and signings, children’s programming, and live music. dayofthebook.com

All you car enthusiasts should mark your calendars for the Kensington Car Show on May 4th at 10am. This community event has been going on since 2015 and will feature a whole bunch of different cars, trucks and motorcycles. Those of you who come out can enjoy music, food trucks, face painting, balloon art and even a beer garden.
