The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued Freeze Warnings and Frost Advisories that are in effect for portions of the area from 2am tonight through 8am Monday morning.
While the Freeze Warnings are a little further out, the Frost Advisories cover NW MoCo, Frederick, Loudoun, part of Howard, Carroll counties and more. Per the NWS, “Take the necessary actions to protect your plants or pets.” Frost could kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered.
Tenperatures are expected to reach the lower 60s later in Monday with highs in the 60s for most of the upcoming work week. We are expected to warm up again the following week.
