According to Montgomery County Police: “A fallen Pepco pole suspended by wires is completely blocking Norwood Rd, which is closed between Dr. Bird and Layhill Roads for an extended period of time.”
Drivers should seek an alternate route and expect significant delays, police say. Ready Montgomery put out a message stating, “Emergency utility work closes all traffic lanes of Norwood Road (MD 182) between Excaliber Lane and Layhill Road. This is an extended event. Expect significant delays. Seek alternate route.”
