Montgomery County Police responded to a shooting on Thursday, May 9 in Wheaton.
According to public safety reporter Cordell Pugh, a man was shot at approximately 10:55AM Thursday along MD-97 Georgia Avenue in the area of Windham Lane and Plyers Mill Road in Wheaton. Montgomery County Police Officers aided victim with a tourniquet prior to EMS arrival.
According to a spokesperson from Montgomery County Police, the victim is alert, conscious, and made the 911 call. There is no suspect in custody at this time.
