
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a crash on the outer loop of I-495 Beltway between Georgia Avenue and Connecticut Avenue at approximately 3am early Sunday morning.
According to MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer, the collision involved four vehicles with multiple patients two people trapped. Emergency medical services evaluated and transported a total of seven patients- Two adults with Pri2 trauma (serious injuries) and an additional two adults and three kids with priority 3 non life threatening injuries.
Approximately two dozen firefighters responded to the scene.
