
The Unofficial 2024 Presidential Primary Election Results for Montgomery County are available with almost all Election Day precincts reporting, according to the Maryland State Board of Elections as of 5am on Wednesday morning:
Montgomery Board of Education At Large incumbent Lynne Harris (31.07%) is virtually tied with Rita Montoya (31.05%). The top-two (of six) At Large candidates will advance to November’s general election and the closest candidate to them is Melissa Kim (15.45%).
Natalie Zimmerman (46.11%) and Brenda Diaz (22.28%) appear to be the two candidates who will advance to November’s general election in district 2, likely putting an end to incumbent Rebecca Smondrowski’s (16.87%) time on the board this year after three consecutive terms. Two of the five candidates will advance.
Laura Stewart (47.3%) leads the way in District 4 with incumbent Shebra Evans (26.94%) looking likely to join her in November’s general election. Bethany Mandel (25.75%) is third. Two of the three candidates will advance.
