
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a fire in the 20200blk of Thunderhead Way, off Waters Landing Way in Germantown at approximately 2pm on Monday, May 20, for the report of a fire.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Pringer, firefighters arrived to find a deck fire that had originated from a propane tank. The fire spread to all levels of the home, including the basement and attic, before being contained. The fire also spread to the neighboring home.
