Three People Hospitalized in Four-Vehicle Collision Sunday Night

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a collision and fire on Clara Barton Parkway at approximately 9:30pm on Sunday night.

According to MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer, the collision occurred in the area of Sycamore Store and involved four vehicles with one of the vehicles catching fire. Everyone was able to get out of the burning vehicle and the fire, which extended to the nearby brush/woods, was extinguished.

Multiple patients were evaluated with three transported to the hospital. One suffered Priotity 2 trauma- serious, but non-life threatening injuries. Clara Barton Parkway remains closed in both directions at 10:30pm.
