Sodexo recently moved its U.S. headquarters to 915 Meeting Street, a new 276,000-square-foot trophy office building that recently opened in North Bethesda’s Pike & Rose development. Sodexo’s headquarters were previously located at 9801 Washingtonian Blvd in Gaithersburg (next to Rio Lakefront) where Prime US REIT signed Immunocore as the first tenant that will take part of the space vacated by Sodexo. Now, an $800K permit has been pulled to begin improvements at the space.

According to Maryland Newsletters, Immunocore “has a permit to make over $800,000 in improvements to the space, which will serve as administrative offices.” with Buch Construction handling the work. The biotech firm signed on for 19,242 square feet at 9801 Washingtonian Boulevard at the beginning of this year.

The company will be adding office space on the waterfront in the Rio complex in Gaithersburg for its administrative offices that will be relocating from 2273 Research Boulevard in Rockville. With other vacancies in the former Sodexo building at 9801 Washingtonian, there is approximately 215,000SF to fill in all.
