Alert Montgomery has issued a ‘Severe Traffic Alert’ for emergency utility work that closes both directions of Layhill Rd (MD 182) between Marymont Rd and Chapel Hill Rd.
According to Alert Montgomery, this closure is expected to persist for the majority of the day and drivers are advised to seek an alternate route. We are working to find additional information on the incident that led to this closure.
