Fantasticks, a customizable gelato bar and pop shop, will open its second Maryland location in Downtown Silver Spring. according to a report by Source of the Spring (video available below).
The new dessert spot will be taking over the space at 915 Ellsworth Dr. that was previously home to Starbucks until the end of March. They currently have a Rio Lakefront location that opened in 2021 and previously had another Maryland location within Manhattan Pizza in Frederick that closed. They also have two Virginia locations at One Loudoun and Clarendon.
Fantasticks allows customers to choose their toppings, cover their ice cream bar in chocolate, then add a drizzle. You can also order gelato in a cup and customize it with your choice of toppings.
