Local nine-year-old singer/songwriter Aiden Adams will hold a concert for hunger awareness on Saturday, June 15, from 4-5:30 PM at Java Nation (11120 Rockville Pike) in North Bethesda. The event aims to raise funds for Shepherd’s Table, a Silver Spring-based organization that provides meals and access to social services for residents experiencing food insecurity, homelessness, and poverty.
About the event: “You’re invited to Aiden’s Concert for Hunger Awareness on Saturday, June 15th at 4:00 pm. We’ll be rocking to Aiden’s original songs and covers. Aiden will be performing live on guitar and vocals, with his supporting band. Dinner will be served, so please arrive prior to 4:00 for seating before the concert begins.
The concert will support Shepherd’s Table, a local 501c3 charity. Shepherd’s Table’s mission is to fight food insecurity in our area by providing nutritious food and community support to our neighbors in need. But it doesn’t end with food. Shepherd’s Table provides special programs that are an entryway to a larger journey of healing and empowerment, and a pathway towards self-sufficiency. Shepherd’s Table (www.ShepherdsTable.org) will be onsite at the concert.
