He was the 1986-1987 Student Member of the Board (SMOB) on the Montgomery County Board of Education as a senior at Walt Whitman High School that year and has gone on to have a stellar career in show business.

After graduating from Whitman in Bethesda, he went on to attend the University of Vermont and the University of Kent in England prior to receiving an acting fellowship at the University of California at Irvine.
