In April, fashion retailer Express announced its filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection and plans to close almost 100 of its locations, including the one at Wheaton Mall which has since closed. Now, Express and Express Men at Montgomery Mall has announced it will be closing soon.
A representative from the store at the mall let us know on Monday morning that an exact date is not yet available, but that “everything must go” and there are currently sales of 20% off full-priced items.
The Westfield Wheaton Mall location was initially the only Maryland store listed to close in the list provided by Express in April (now listed as closed on the Express website). The Express Factory store at the Clarksburg Premium Outlets will remain open, according to a representative at the store. Click here to see a full list of all store closures.
