Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a single-family house fire in the 8800blk of Cochrane Ct. in Gaithersburg (initially reported as Montgomery Village) on Friday, June 28, 2024.
According to Chief Spokesperson with MCFRS Pete Piringer, the fire has been knocked down on the first and second floors and firefighters are currently working on some hotspots in the garage. All occupants of the home are accounted for and there have been no injuries reported.
Piringer tweeted that the cause of the fire “likely involves grill and propane tanks.” We will provide an update if additional information becomes available. Video courtesy @back2_dafuture on Instagram.
