Alert Montgomery has sent out a Severe Traffic Alert at 9:13am: “Traffic incident closes all lanes on the Outer Loop of I-495 at Old Georgetown Road (MD-187) Expect significant delays. Seek alternate route.”
According to MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer, a vehicle fire was extinguished but debris remain in the roadway and there are slick road conditions.
