4:55pm Update: All lanes are open on Quince Orchard Rd (MD 124) at I-270 from earlier traffic incident. Expect residual delays.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) have responded to a crash involving several vehicles on Quince Orchard Rd, in the area of I-270, at approximately 4pm on Tuesday afternoon.
According to MCFRS chief spokesperson Pete Piringer, several vehicles were involved in the crash and multiple patients are being evaluated for injuries. Alert Montgomery has sent out the following Severe Traffic Alert:
“Traffic incident closes all eastbound lanes of Quince Orchard Rd (MD 124) at I-270. Expect significant delays. Seek alternate route.” Featured photo by @shawna580 on instagram.
