Homicide Unit detectives in Prince George’s county are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Sunday morning in Laurel. The victim is 21-year-old Desmond Lowe of Germantown. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
According to Prince George’s County Police, “On July 7, 2024, at approximately 12:10 am, officers responded to the 13000 block of Mistletoe Springs Road for a shooting. Once on scene, they located Lowe and another adult male in an apartment building suffering from gunshot wounds. Lowe was pronounced dead on the scene. The second adult male was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
