Swiss chocolatier Läderach is now open in Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda. The store is located on the mall’s upper level, in the space previously occupied by Chocolate Moonshine. Läderach is renowned for its FrischSchoggi (fresh chocolate) slabs, pralines, and truffles.
According to its website, “Fresh chocolate is the best chocolate. That’s why we’re there every step of the way – from the cocoa fruit to the chocolaterie. We seek out the world’s most aromatic cocoa beans, obtaining many of our natural ingredients directly from Switzerland. And we’ve been refining our artisanal chocolate-making for generations. We reinvent chocolate day in, day out – so we can share it with you piece by piece.
Since the birth of our company in 1962, we have been refining fresh chocolate into extraordinary creations – and taking great pleasure in sharing them. While we initially did so as a supplier to selected Swiss chocolate shops, today we share our delights with the entire world.”
In other Westfield Montgomery news, Pollo Campero is now open in the mall’s food court. The restaurant is located in the space that was most recently occupied by Greek Aroma Grill.
