On Wednesday, Pho & Grill announced that its location at 18153 Village Mart Dr in Olney was burglarized overnight between Monday, July 22 and Tuesday morning, July 23. The full message can be seen below:
“Dear Pho & Grill Customers and Olney Community,
We want to inform you about an unfortunate incident that occurred at our Pho & Grill restaurant in the Olney Village Center between 11 p.m. Monday night (7/22/24) and 5 a.m. Tuesday morning (7/23/24). During this time, robbers broke in and stole cash and equipment.
Additionally, a beer store in the same shopping center was also broken into. Fortunately, an attentive Olney resident noticed the shattered glass door early Tuesday morning and promptly reported it to the authorities.
We are sincerely grateful that no one was injured during this incident. Our restaurant has proudly served the Olney community for 15 years, and this is the first time we have experienced such an event, which speaks to the overall safety and solidarity of our neighborhood.
We would like to express our gratitude to the Montgomery County Police for their swift response and assistance. We will provide further information once we receive the official investigation report.
With a collective effort, we can make our community safer.
