Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a house fire in the 2900 block of Beaverwood Lane, near Bel Pre Road in Silver Spring at approximately 8:53 a.m. on Saturday.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, firefighters arrived to the two-story single-family house to find smoke coming from the attic.
