Montgomery County Law Enforcement Torch Run to Take Place Pike & Rose and Benefit Special Olympics

The Montgomery County Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit the Special Olympics will take place on Friday, September 6, 2024 in Pike & Rose.

Check-in for the run will be at 11:30 a.m. at Rose Park, Rose Ave. in North Bethesda’s Pike & Rose for the Opening Ceremony with representatives from Montgomery County Law Enforcement and Special Olympics Maryland. The race itself begins at 12 p.m.

The untimed race is just over a mile around the perimeter of Pike & Rose – Rose Ave., Rockville Pike, Old Georgetown Road, Towne Road, Prose Street, Trade Street, Grand Park Ave. All runners will run with Special Olympics athletes, and one of the athletes will hold a torch during the run.
