At approximately 9:43 p.m., Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) officers responded to a residence on Ravensdale Court in Gaithersburg for the report of an accidental discharge of a gun.
According to MCPD, “The preliminary investigation has revealed that an adult male accidentally discharged his firearm. The bullet struck his hand and then the upper body of his adult male family member.
They were both transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.”
