BabyCat Brewery to Open Second Location

Donohoe Commercial Real Estate (DCRE) last month announced that Kensington’s BabyCat Brewery is Gallery Bethesda’s newest retail tenant (4800 Rugby Ave).

MoCo residents Sam Mussomeli and Terry Redmond brought BabyCat Brewery to 10241 Kensington Pkwy in Kensington in late 2022. “Born from a love of nature, pets, family, and beer, BabyCat brewery will forever be dedicated to crafting excellent craft beverages and ensuring you, your family and your friends feel right at home every time you visit us.”

Set to open in late 2024 / early 2025, BabyCat’s Bethesda outpost will feature indoor and plaza seating, offering guests a dynamic space to enjoy a selection of local craft beers, specialty food, and entertainment.

DCRE’s Don Konz said, “BabyCat is a fantastic addition to our building and the neighborhood.  Ownership is excited to welcome a MoCo-born craft brewer to Bethesda and think this store will be a huge hit with our residents and locals alike.” More details on the grand opening will be made available soon.

DCRE’s Don Konz and Bert Donohoe represented Gallery Bethesda in this deal, the final in a series of new agreements that has fully leased the retail space to tenants such as HotWorx, The DripBar, Baruch Café, and Keller Williams.  Bill Montrose of AMR Commercial represented BabyCat Brewery.
