Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the 9600blk of Flower Ave in Silver Spring on Tuesday afternoon for the report of a house fire.
According to MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer, firefighters responded to a fire in a first-floor bathroom that involved a sauna. A smoke alarm alerted the residents, who safely evacuated the home. There were no injuries, and the residents will not be displaced. The estimated damage is approximately $75,000.
