Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the Wasserman Building at the JCC Jewish Community Center complex (6121 Montrose Rd.) in Rockville for the report of a fire on Wednesday morning.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, the fire was located in a lower level laundry room and involved a dryer with possible extension into ventilation system. The incident caused the building to be partially evacuated. The fire has been extinguished and there were no injuries reported.
