Victim’s Identity Released as Police Investigate Fatal Motorcycle Crash

Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD)– Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) are investigating a fatal collision that occurred on Saturday, August 10, 2024, in the area of Lockwood Drive and Columbia Pike in White Oak.

According to MCPD, “At approximately 5:52 p.m., 3rd District officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel responded to the location for the report of a single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.

The investigation has revealed that a black 1998 Honda CBR600 motorcycle was traveling northbound on Columbia Pike when it made a right turn onto Lockwood Drive, left the roadway and struck a metal light support pole. As a result of the collision, the operator was ejected from the Honda and was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The decedent has been identified as 30-year-old Christian Ronaldo Guillen, of Silver Spring. This is an active and ongoing investigation, and CRU detectives are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the collision to call (240) 773-6620.”
