Maryland Restaurant Issues Apology… But It’s Not What You Think

A Maryland restaurant shared a post on social media on Saturday announcing to its social media followers that an apology was necessary. The post by Serra Restaurant and Bar in Sykesville grabbed the attention of concerned customers who were surprised to see what came next…

The restaurant did apologize, but it wasn’t for a reason many expected. The apology led to the announcement of the restaurant’s second location– in Westminster, MD. Though the restaurant has a modest 892 followers on social media, the announcement has already been shared over 25 times with most fans leaving supportive comments. It can be seen below:

“Dear Serra Fans,  We owe you an apology. We simply couldn’t bear the thought of having just one Serra Restaurant & Bar location anymore. The cravings were too strong, and the demand for our signature flavors was impossible to ignore. So, in an effort to right this terrible wrong, we’ve decided to double the deliciousness. That’s right-Serra is EXPANDING to Westminster, MD. Our address will be:

32 W Main St, Westminster, MD 21157

We know, we know… how could we let this happen? But we hope you’ll find it in your hearts to forgive us and join us in celebrating our Grand Opening on September 5th. Come see us in Westminster, and let’s cheer on the Ravens as they take on Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs.

Sincerely (and excitedly),

Serra Restaurant and Bar”
