The Big Greek Gyro Eating Competition, which takes place at 6pm on Saturday, September 7th at the Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Festival (721 Norwood Rd. Silver Spring, MD). A video to get you excited for the event can be seen below.
This family-friendly event will be emceed by our very own Mr. MoCo and promises fun and entertainment for participants and spectators alike. This is your chance to show your gyro eating skills and compete for a chance to win a Big Greek Gift Box valued over $150, $1000 first place cash prize, a Championship belt, and the ultimate bragging rights as the Big Greek Gyro Eating Champion.
Each participant will be given a plate of gyros. The goal is to eat as many gyros as possible within the 20 minute time limit. The participant who consumes the most gyros wins!
Gather your friends and family for an evening of fun, food, and fierce competition. Whether you’re a contestant or a cheering fan, the Gyro Eating Competition is an event you won’t want to miss!
