Rocktobierfest Returns to Rockville on September 28th

The City of Rockville’s Rocktobierfest celebrates German culture with beer, bands, bratwurst and more from 11am-5pm on September 28th at Rockville Town Center.

This free festival includes two stages of live music, food, beer sales by local breweries, an artisan shopping area, and activities for kids. This annual Oktoberfest event attracts nearly 8,000 people to Rockville Town Center. Additional information below courtesy of the City of Rockville:

Rocktobierfest features two stages of music including traditional Bavarian and rock music.

Maryland Ave. Stage

Food and Beverage

Visitors can enjoy a variety of items at the event including bratwurst, sausages, BBQ, ice cream, pretzels and more. There are also a variety of restaurants located in Rockville Town Center offering everything from pizza to sushi.

Transportation and Parking

Parking

  • Free parking is available at the Council Office Building on Fleet Street and the City Hall lot.
  • Paid parking is available in the Town Square Route 355 and North Washington Street garages.

Metro

  1. Take the Metro red line towards Shady Grove and get off at Rockville station.
  2. Exit west towards the Rockville Pike (Rt. 355) side and take the pedestrian walkway over Rt. 355 into Rockville Town Center.
