The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) shared the following information about a death investigation in Bethesda Monday night:
”MCPD is conducting a death investigation in the 10500 block of Westlake Drive. An adult male is in custody. The scene is secure and there is no additional threat to the public at this time.
More information will be released as it becomes available.”
Update: The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is conducting a death investigation following a domestic incident in Bethesda.
According to police, “On Monday, September 9, 2024, at approximately 10:49 p.m., MCPD and Fire Rescue personnel responded to the 10500 block of Westlake Drive for the report of a domestic related incident. Upon arrival, officers located an adult female dead at the scene.
An adult male suspect has been taken into custody. The decedent will be transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, where an autopsy will be conducted to officially determine the cause and manner of death.
This is an active and ongoing investigation.”
