He still has family in the area and is spotted hanging out in the county all the time, with readers often sending in selfies with the actor at the mall, gym, grocery store and other often frequented locations in MoCo.
Bernthal wrote the following on Instagram after winning, “There are no words for how grateful I am for The Bear. I’m grateful to be a part of it, grateful that I get to watch it, and just plain grateful that it exists. This show, how it’s made, and who it’s made by, gives me hope. It is a beacon for the best of what this whole thing we do is about. It’s personal without being precious, sacred without being sanctimonious, and elegant without being indulgent. I am so beyond touched and honored to be recognized alongside of this show and included in the beautiful family of folks that make it. Big love y’all.”
