Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the Montgomery County Shady Grove Transfer Station (16101 Frederick Rd) on Monday for the report of a fire.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, the exterior fire was located within a large scrap pile. The fire is currently contained but not not extinguished. There are no injuries reported.
