The Maryland Lottery has announced that a $50,000 top-prize winning Bonus Match 5 ticket for the Monday, September 23 drawing was sold at a Walmart in Frederick County, marking the 26th top-prize win of 2024.
Check your tickets to see if you won the $50,000 top prize. The winning numbers to match for the Sept. 23 drawing are: 3, 9, 10, 15 and 23; the Bonus Ball was 21. The Frederick Walmart located at 7400 Guilford Drive sold the ticket and will receive a bonus of $500 for selling a $50,000 top-prize winner.
Lottery officials urge the winner to sign the back of the ticket and put it in a safe place. The player has 182 days to claim the prize.
Instructions for claiming prizes are available on the How to Claim page of the Lottery website. Prizes of more than $25,000 must be claimed through Lottery headquarters, either in person or by mail. Lottery headquarters is in the Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330, in Baltimore. An appointment is required to claim in person (no walk-ins).
