Just Chicken, which opened its only Maryland location as one of the founding concepts at Solaire Social (located on the ground floor of the Solaire 8200 apartments at 8200 Dixon Ave in Silver Spring), has closed after approximately four months according to a Source of the Spring report.
The stall received a lot of praise upon opening, with our very own Mr. MoCo sharing that “The Just Loaded Fries are currently my favorite affordable meal in Montgomery County. At under $15, it’s affordable, tasted great, and was enough to fill two of us up at lunch.” A video of the food can be seen below.
According to Source of the Spring, the stall closed on September 17th and that Solaire Social stated “a new and interesting flavor” would soon be coming to the Silver Spring food hall.

The Just Chicken menu consisted of the Just Chicken Sandwich (Crispy chicken tenders on a toasted focaccia bun topped with “Just Sauce” and pickles), Just Tenders Meal (Four chicken tenders, fresh cut fries, slaw, focaccia ball, and signature “Just Sauce”), Just Loaded Fries (fresh cut fries topped with crispy chicken, shredded cheese, and “Just Sauce”), Just Kids (Two crispy tenders, fresh cut fries and “Just Sauce”), Just Salad (A lighter version of the Just Fries.
