Alert Montgomery sent out a Severe Traffic Alert at 9:52am Wednesday morning for a traffic incident that has closed all southbound lanes of I-270 prior to Comus road in Upper Montgomery County.
Per the alert, “Expect significant delays. Seek alternate route.” According to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) Chief spokesperson Pete Piringer, the crash involves two vehicles and a tractor trailer.
10:01am update: All southbound lanes have reopened.
