According to the Maryland-National Capital Park Police, a woman was inappropriately touched by a man while walking along the Rock Creek Stream Valley Trail in Chevy Chase.
Per the news release: “On October 8, 2024, a woman was walking along the Rock Creek Stream Valley Trail near the intersection of Woodhollow Drive and Jones Mill Road at the Jones Mill Road Playground when a man approached her and touched her inappropriately. Maryland-National Capital Park Police, Montgomery County Division, Criminal Investigation Unit are actively investigating this incident and are searching for information and any witnesses to the incident.

Suspect information: Black male, aproximately 6’ tall, 20-25 years old, medium complexion, clean shaven, with no visible marks, scars, or tattoos, wearing a black t-shirt, black jogger pants and a tight black cap.”
