6:30am Update: Two right travel lanes remain blocked past the Emory Lane overpass from overnight incident. Traffic gets by the scene using one left lane. Delays are building. An extended closure is expected.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a collision involving two tractor-trailers on MD 200W (ICC) between Georgia Ave and Shady Grove early Tuesday morning.
According to MCFRS Spokesperson Jason Blake, one driver was extricated, and both drivers were transported to area hospitals with injuries. Haz-Mat teams responded to the scene to mitigate a diesel fuel spill.
