The Maryland-National Capital Park Police have released a sketch of a person of interest sought in connection with an incident where a woman was inappropriately touched by a man while walking on the Rock Creek Stream Valley Trail in Chevy Chase.
Per Park Police: “On October 8, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. a woman was walking along the Rock Creek Stream Valley Trail near the intersection of Woodhollow Drive and Jones Mill Road at the Jones Mill Road Playground, 8525 Jones Mill Road Bethesda, Md., when a man approached her and touched her inappropriately. Maryland-National Capital Park Police, Montgomery County Division, Criminal Investigation Unit are actively investigating this incident and are searching for information and any witnesses to the incident, including the bicycle riders who assisted the victim.
Suspect information: Black male, approximately 6’ tall, 20-25 years old, medium complexion, clean shaven, with no visible marks, scars, or tattoos, wearing a black t-shirt, black jogger pants and a tight black cap.
Investigators have a sketch of a person of interest and are asking for help in identifying him.
