Baltimore Police Announce Arrest of Man Who Assaulted Two Commanders Fans Following Commanders/Ravens Game Last Sunday in Baltimore

On Thursday, Baltimore Police announced that an arrest warrant was issued for 24-year-old John Callis of Baltimore following the brutal assault that was captured in the now-viral video of Callis assaulting two Washington Commanders fans following last Sunday’s Ravens/Commanders game. Today, the department has announced he has been arrested.

Per Baltimore Police, “In reference to the brutal assault that occurred on Oct. 13, 2024, in the 1000 blk of S. Charles St., 24-year-old John Callis turned himself into police custody. Callis is facing first-degree aggravated assault & three counts of second-degree assault charges.”

Callis was seen on video assaulting two 23-year-old males following an NFL game. The video, which has been viewed millions of times across multiple platforms, shows a man who has been identified as Callis walking down South Charles Street in Baltimore and seeking out two Commanders fans who appear to be walking down the street.
