Beloved Greek Restaurant Closes After Nearly a Decade

Beloved Greek restaurant, Analia’s Cafe, will close its doors after nearly 10 years at 480 Prospect Blvd in Frederick. The restaurant made the announcement in a social media post on Tuesday.

Dear Valued Customers,

As we prepare to close our doors for the final time Sunday October 26th 2024, we wish to sincerely thank you for your support over the past ten years.

Being a family-owned business, this journey has been especially meaningful to us, and we have had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing people along the way. Thank you for allowing us the honor if doing the cooking and sharing our passion for food with you.

Your support has not only sustained our business, but has also created a wonderful community that we will miss dearly. Although we are moving on, we are truly grateful for everything.

With warm regards,

Analia’s Cafe

The restaurant has earned a 4.7/5 Yelp rating with over 350 reviews and a 4.6/5 with nearly 500 reviews on Google in nearly a decade. On the Facebook page, customers commented how much they will miss the food while recounting positive experiences at Analia’s Cafe.

On the restaurant website, owners Ana and Jose state that they opened their restaurant because they would often have friends and family coming over to our home, sharing great food, while the couple was also working for a restaurant. They started to think that they would like to share their Greek style dining experience with even more people and decided to open. Analia’s Cafe opened in 2015.

More per Analia’s Cafe: “We are the owners of Analia’s Cafe. Our names are Ana and Jose, we have been married for 12 years, we met each other working at a restaurant, for the last 20 years we have worked for restaurants throughout Maryland and has always been our dream to open a family restaurant that serves great food. Jose has been working very hard in the restaurant industry since he was 15 years old, his 20 years of restaurant experience and my 15 years of experience in the same line of work makes us feel very confidents about what we have to offer to our clients.
